Step 1: Download the Credit Genie App
Credit Genie is available for free on both the Apple App Store and Google Play Store. Search for "Credit Genie" and install the app on your smartphone. The download is free and takes less than a minute.
Step 2: Create Your Account
Open the app and enter your name, email address, and a secure password. You'll receive a verification email or text message to confirm your identity. Complete the verification to activate your account.
Step 3: Link Your Bank Account
Connect your personal checking account securely through Plaid. This connection uses 256-bit SSL encryption — the same standard used by major US banks. Your bank login credentials are never stored by Credit Genie. The system needs access to your account to verify your income patterns and spending history.
Step 4: Request Your Cash Boost
Once your bank is linked, the system automatically analyzes your income, spending patterns, and account health. If approved, you'll see your available Cash Boost amount. Choose your preferred delivery speed — Standard (free, 1–3 days), Express (same-day), or Instant (~30 minutes) — confirm, and receive your funds.
What If I'm Not Approved?
If your initial application is not approved, you can reapply once per day. The eligibility criteria are updated frequently, and improvements in your banking activity — such as more consistent deposits or lower spending — can unlock approval over time. Each application has zero impact on your credit score.
